Morning, Fair weather permitting I was considering this interesting 10k-ish race next Saturday evening. I have been on the website RogueRuns and notice Les C vests in the promotional video, but it's too dark to see who they are. Who has competed in this event previously? I would like some recommendations with regard to choice of head torch, footwear (high heels are going to be difficult on that terrain), clothing and cake quality. The organisers description of the race..... This is the 3rd race in our Night Races Series, starting from the iconic Chepstow Castle and taking in paths through the Piercefield Estate and along the Wye Valley. This will be a one lap course with some pavement, open grassland, tracks and rooty/rocky single track path. Does anyone else fancy this one, we could do a bit of a car share.

Hi Sasha Dave E Williams,Roy Silver, Simon Hazel and myself have been running this series and have all agreed that it has been a great event. Each race has had a great course, well marked and hard to get lost. Trail shoes are a must as there is a lot of mud and slippery in places. Any head torch is ok as there will be a large variety of types used. Clothing is up to you as some are wrapped up and then the brave with shorts and vest. Dave, Simon and myself have entered and I think Kirsty Roberts and Nick are also in. Will be at the club on Thursday if you need to ask anything but they are great fun and a defo for me again.
