Great run by Alice Johnston, to record first lady, and 7th overall, in 41.58, only four minutes behind winner, Scott Nixon, of Cardiff AAC. Papa ambled in some six minutes later, but first o/60!. This is a good race, very well organised and marshalled, but would definitely need studs, if the going was at all wet. Now for Manchester half......

Ran Porthkerry (Plod) 5 miles instead. Glorious morning in Porthkerry Park.
