After a very character-building Handicap 10 miles last Sunday, it's back to normal this week. And after seemingly endless rain lately, the forecast for tomorrow is mild and cloudy, so you've got no excuse not to turn up. Good luck to everyone heading to Lliswerry. Endurance season is now very much underway. Of course, many runners are still feeling the disappointment of not being accepted into London yet again. No need to worry, a ready made alternative awaits you! Barry 40 has been going since 1986, and now has a marathon held simultaneously. Never run an endurance race on a track before? Well come and speak to someone who has - many times! Or watch it on our TV video channel (three quarters of the way down our home page).Barrybados is always nice by mid March. Mark 11 March down in your diary now! It would be rude not to!

Another wonderful run. Ten degrees - nearly as warm as Barrybados! We arranged it especially for Maria, cos it's a bit of a shock after 3 weeks in Houston. Now everyone - ask yourselves honestly - would your run have been half as good or enjoyable if you'd been on your own? If the answer is no - invite more people next week! We all benefit. We're not the greatest running club on the planet for nothing. Hope to see as many of you as possible at Leckwith on Tuesday at 7PM. Kilometre reps - quite tricky to execute well - but much easier in company.

Ha, definitely, Karen! It was great this morning, just enough drizzle to keep cool in warmish weather...
