After suggestions of half marathons to try out, me & Stu. Criteria: navigable two-abreast, preferably road and with PB potential (flattish) and not heaving with runners who'd finish around the two hour mark. Ideally not requiring an overnight stay from Cardiff (although Berkshire/Bucks might work, family there).
Cardiff Half far too busy to safely run/guide run, Swansea and Llanelli nicely ticked all the boxes, now seeking another. Ta.

Burham on sea and Highbrigh half marathon. On the same day as Cardiff but alot quieter and can be done in a day. PB potiential There are some busy parts at the start on the main road in out and out of Burham and at the end on the road to Brean Sands problaly do it again this year as I'll be there when it's on if you decide to do it. Can I also suggest Tenby half although a busy marathon it on quieter roads but very hilly! Starts in Penbroke and finishes in Tenby town centre. Planning to do the TROTS Tenby 10k on the 30 July busy some quiet roads goes along the main the road by the leisure centre and Kiln Park but comes back along quiet roads. Startsd and finished in Tenby town centre some hills.
