Yeah, thanks Dave- you were awesome with that megaphone-it really spurred me on. Thanks to all the volunteers-it must have been freezing standing in one place- it was cold enough running especially after that hail shower! Dave James.Cold really affects us oldies!

Running was the easy bit, and it's easy to go on-line and see who ran (or just brag and talk rubbish on FB as I do). But I lost count of and only saw/heard a fraction of those from the club supporting, helping out and cheering us on yesterday - not forgetting those who worked so hard or volunteered in the lead-up to the race. How about a role of honour of everyone and anyone from LCRC who made it all possible, cheered us on, guided us round and got soggy on behalf of the rest of us?

I was on the very last corner before the finish straight. I could feel the pain all you croups were in although Superman few past. Gave you a shout but you were in the zone. DEAD ZONE !!!😀

I was really sorry I couldn't make it, being housebound for a few days after my argument with the bench on Thursday night.  The impression I got from the TV coverage was of a very successful event and I think we can be very proud of ourselves as a club for the part we played, whether as competitors or volunteers.
