Greetings Team LC! Get out there and run quick, it is not raining LOL
Need to get this out there before another year vanishes!
I am running 3 half marathons this year.
Claire Jones is very kindly running the first one with me in Cardiff, in March. What a star.
That leaves 2 more....
So there are two aspects here....
1 I need two more very kind Guide Runners to run the remaining two half marathons with me.
2. I am not sure where they are yet :)
I have decided not to do any cross country ones.
So please either volunteer to run with me on a lovely half marathon and/or suggest which half marathons to do. They both have to be in the UK, to narrow it down.
I look forward to your answers.
O, and of course I will be paying for the entry fee for both Guide runners.
Enjoy your runs!

There's the regular Cardiff half in October - pretty much same route as March so a) you will have had experience of it and thus will know if you like to course before you enter b) have opportunity to improve your time over the same course.
I did Bristol last year which was enjoyable but it did have one short section that was over cobbles. This could present a different running experience / may not be the safest course depending on how you want to view it! lol. I think Bristol is usually September time but don't quote me!

Also, do check out with race organisers re: free entry for guide runners before you pay double - it hardly seems fair that you should have to pay double to be able to participate.

Forest of Dean's spring half marathon is technically 'off road' but I reckon you'd cope with it. The paths are generally wide to allow two runners abreast, and the surface is hard packed, though the final couple of miles are quite stony underfoot and your 'sprint' finish is on grass. It's undulating of course. Good atmosphere and the club usually puts on a coach to get there (if there's enough interest).

Nice one Chadders! A nice HM in Swansea would be fab! What a treasure you are. Get us booked in sharpish before you change your mind. :) Don't forget the small matter of a full M in London... a few weeks before though...
That makes 3 HMs for the year...or could there be more LOL That one in the FOD sounds tempting too... Very interesting feedback Amanda, thank you for yourinfo.
Could I be getting too excited about running again....surely not!
I have been horse riding down that way on aCowboy adventure. Was a lovely part of the world.
I think I am still buzzing after my 11.3 mile run with Clair. Ran through some parts of Cardiff that I had not done before, so was fab. Good training with strong winds today too.
O dear have to go have typing itus...
