I've run out of nice things to say about this run.
The weather might not be ideal.
There might be puddles on the course (or rivers, like last week)
So I'll see you all there then, yes?

I'll be there looking to do 14 or 15 miles @ 9:30 to 10 min/mile pace. Ralph has also said he's coming - 10 miles at a 'conservative pace'.

As my regular training partner has become waaay to fast for me, i will be looking to join the Sunday morning runs in the near future come rain, puddles or what ever. I do like the sound of running a " conservative pace " in good convivial company.

Thanks for posting Mick. 17m for me at the normal (7m 45s per mile?) pace.

Another great turn out. Well done everyone.
A bit colder than expected today (4 degrees) which is OK when it's dry, but trickier when it's lashing down with rain.
That made for a difficult decision about exactly how much to wear.
Of course, during the Barry 40 you can change your kit as much as you like - even on every lap if the weather changes.
But back to the harsh reality of the Taff Trail - it was for real runners only.
Talking of real runners, Maria must be getting fed up of all that boiling weather out in South America and counting down the days to be being back on the Taff Trail in hat and gloves!

Don't it if it was me but I went out t-shirt and leggings and felt quiet warm, although it could be all those hot flushes!!! I'd like to thank Mike and Jill for their company even if Mike was complaining I was going too fast. Mike did look like he was off too the North Pole! Anyone is welcome to run with me on Sunday morning. I know some good routes espically up Cawrphilly mountain when the weather is abit more happier! Good training trainnig for that hilly race such as Snowdon! Besides it's nice when all the bluebell are out.
