Safety out on the run is a bit of a hot topic this week so I thought I'd share the link below. If something happened to you while out on a run or on your bike, would anyone know who you are or how to get hold of someone who does? When this topic came up a few years ago I did a lot of research and decided that these were the best option in my opinion.

I wear the Wrist ID Elite and wear it 24/7, and I bought the Wrist ID Slim for Maria and Sarah. I know Dave Hodges has bought one as well.

There is currently a sale on them if you follow the link, I ordered the 3 at the beginning of December and they arrived in time for Christmas presents.

There were cramtags but I haven't seen them for a while. They were brought out after Steven Crams brother was knock over and it took a few days to find his next of kin as he had no ID on him. They were available in Run and Become. You can also buy medical ID tags which are good if you are on medication or cannot take a certaim medication like pencilian. Also if you carry on amodile on your long run you can put the word ICE againist your next of kin or someone that can me contact if there is a problem. What alot of ambalance staff found was that poeple have moblie phome but didn't know who to contact after a list of names is meanless to a stranger so haveing ICE ( in case of enmginces ) next to a name can help if someone needs to be contacted. It's a good idea to carry a mobile phone and some change when out for a long run.
