Good turnout from the club today. Perfect running weather and a great little race. Well done to everyone who withstood the brutal downhill tarmac.
No results yet but Angela Lett was first lady. Matt Hurford won V40, Julie Scholey first very mature lady, and Angela, Aine and Julie won the ladies prize.
The prize should go to Islwyn RC for again putting on such a scenic and friendly race, and providing a morning of fun, scenery and light hearted competition.

<ponders> is Ms Scholey very mature or extra mature  Certainly extra very speedy at present! Thoroughly enjoyed Sirhowy yesterday, and I am really enjoying my first season of off-road races - if you've never tried it, give it a whirl.

Someday I will beat Julie in an off road race  ! Thoroughly enjoyed the race on Sunday though. One I would do again for sure
