Hi all,

Does anyone have any recommendations for physiotherapists (Cardiff area)? I've got a problem with my ankle/foot which I think is more than just a niggle.

Cheers,
Graham

Hi Graham
I would recommend Martin Haley every time. Just put his name in google to find his details.
You'll need to come to Barry so why not make it a day out! A lot of Croups members use him.

I've also used Martin and can recommend Martin.

Another physio and club memebers have used (myself included) is Karen Fuller she is excellent. In 2012, sorted out my ankle ligament problems and she was good at keeping me running.

Martin Halley is excellent and has put me right a few times so I would have to recommend him.

A little practice near me on Windsor Road in Penarth is also very good. A couple of ladies that work there both know their stuff. Its just very local so I went there for convenience.

Martin Hailey all day long for me... he's sorted me out many times which has allowed me to run consistantly like I've never been able to prior to seeing him and also allowed me to get a bit quicker in my old age.

Martin is also contactable via facebook and his practice is called Solutions Fitness. Although I think he'll be the first to clarify he isn't a registered Physiotherapist the dark arts he practices does the business. ThumpUp

Jackie Zaslona is an AMAZING physio- I have seen her both as a pt , and worked with her when she was based in the NHS. She is an extremely good diagnostically, and has very pragmatic approach to resolving problems- she tries to avoid getting people coming back every week to `see how its going` but will try to send you away with a structured rehab programme, and review few weeks down the line, and so keeps costs down.....and... If she can`t fix it she will say so and not waste your time and money!!! She has done work for many years with para Olympics team and is fantastic on spines in particular. She`s got lots of contacts (NHS and non NHS) if she cant resolve the problem herself. her work address is 33 The Parade, off City rd (Newport rd end)-there is off rd parking there. she is in yellow pages under physio, and also has a webpage, and will take bookings by phone or email.if anyone cant find her phone contact details please ask me- HIGHLY recommended!

Can I add my recommendation for Karen Fuller as well who works at the Parade near city road and has treated many of our runners, she's really well qualified, NHS and BUPA experience and knows her stuff
Also, I live in penarth and yes the practice Lyndon has mentioned above, penarth physiotherapy run by Dyfri Owen who is brilliant, works with the Cardiff Blues and also has a treatment room at Leckwith stadium. He really knows his stuff and treats a lot of London marathoners.
