Les Croupiers Running Club Forum

This is on the 13 June just after castles. Entries are not open yet ( althought now close for horses) This is a 21 mile cross country race against horses which have been beaten, which you can do as a team or an indivdual. So if you don't make the castles this could be a poosiblity. It is a very popular race and bookies take bets on it. If the horse wins then the prize money rolls over to the following year. No I haven't forgotton the rack raid. Another good race is Race the Train in Twyn North Wales. A 15 mile cross country race against the Twyn railway and the train has been beaten. It's very popular and well supportted by the locals and fammers who allow their land to be used as well as providing water and fuel stations. There is also children races and a 10k race. A few B&B and a good campsite walking distance from the start. THe atmosphere for both races is brillant with runners from all over UK the World. Don't worry there plenty of vets for the horses and water for the runners!
