My sister has decided she wants to lose weight and I convinced her to start running. In her school days she was a brilliant Cross Country runner. She was drinking excessively but completely gave up alchohol and cigerettes just like that 2 years ago with no help! The thing about my sister is when she gets something in her head she is stubborn and will keep at it till she succeeds! She went to Cosmeston today and jogged around the Park which is a start!  I have shown her how well other people have done at this club.Knowing how strong willed she is and the natural ability she has I think she has every chance of succeeding! Great news Lyndon. She should join us at parkrun. That's the perfect next step for her. And we all know what happens once you join parkrun - you just go from strength to strength …...

Thank you to everyone who liked and commented you are already making a difference! I sent my sister a link to this and this was the reply. Omg that's brill! 😝 now I'm gonna have to keep it up so u can update it lol 😉😉 I'm determined to do an early run in the morning . I'm calling over dads in the afternoon
