Forecast is for just above freezing, sunny and light wind. Mudclaws or trail shoes? Anyone running in just a vest? See you at the club at 915.

Running in just a vest? A great question, Richard. It shows you intend to run quick enough to keep warm anyway!

Results are out http://thornburyrunningclub.co.uk/?page_id=13272

Race report in a very few words? Lots of mud, lots of cake, lots of smiles, lots of sunshine!

I can't attest as to whether Richard wore shorts or not as he was so far up the field (30th finisher!)

Prize winners were:

Mike Murphy 1st V60
Gill Murphy 1st V60
Ralph Davey 1st V70

and in a shocking turn of events Clare Johnson won nothing (but that didn't stop her taking home Cath Tailby's prize as compensation. Something about giving it to her at the next Gwent League .............)

I won the ' bare as you dare' award, completing the Rollick dressed only in a Croups vest and a smile.

Ooh David Macdonald, you bad boy, casting aspersions like that! I have emailed Cath Tailby about her winnings and she is delighted. Now will I remember to take the wine to the next Gwent League?....
