Copied straight from my facebook post for those of you that don't partake of the book of faces..

Ok, further to a conversation with Aine Kenny on Sunday after junior parkrun, it is my intention to run up Pen y Fan this Saturday 27th.

I would rather not do it alone as I will get lost! Is anyone else interested in an early morning (before the crowds turn up) jog up the Pen Y Fan / Corn Du circular path and back to the start.
Apparently it is pretty strenuous but the plan is run at the pace of the slowest person to join us.

Any takers at all or am I being too adventurous (Having never actually done it before)! According to the attached link it is about 4 miles so doesn't seem too far! Off course, the mountain will make it difficult!

So far it is myself and Aine with (provisionally) Tim Green, Mathew Lloyd Jones (from junior parkrun) with Paul Chapman checking out whether he can make it.Pace unimportant. This is for the fun of it.

Marcus, don't know if you are interested but the following Saturday pm there is a fell race up Pen-y-fan, I will be partaking in it and you are welcome to join me.
It's only about 3.6 miles long, at a cost of £6. Starts at 1200hrs so you can still do PR as a warm up

Roy, I would definitely be interested however work has other ideas I am afraid. Sadly I work alternate Saturdays and there is availability for time off. :(

Is the Pen Y Fan Fell Race the one on Saturday 11th July? If it is then you may be able to make that one Marcus if you have alternate Saturdays off.

My mistake, it is the 11th for sure.
Followed on the Sunday ( for those who cant run on the Saturday ) Fan-y-Big 10.3 miles with 2200ft of climb.
From Llanfrynach village hall starting at 1100HRS, cost £7 on the day. Gr 075257.
