The Rose Inn Relays are taking place at 6:45PM on Tuesday 3rd September 2013.Based at the Redwick Community Centre, near the Rose Inn, Redwick - 'famous' for the Rose Inn 4 Mile series. The race comprises three legs of approximately 1.95 miles each (one lap of the Rose Inn 4M course - for those who have run a Rose Inn 4M race, it's 'finish line' to 'finish line' [if that makes sense]). * Beer garden and BBQ on the night * Free parking * Team prizes for both athletic clubs and non-athletic clubs THE COURSE Entirely on-road using the Rose Inn Race Series course. Entry cost: £4 per runner (£12 per team). Online and postal entries are available, see www.sandomenico.org.uk for more details. I have no less than two entry forms although only one is needed per team. Got any ideas for team name? Other than Les croupiers v40 men of course. Club colours must be worn, red and green? I don't think you have a red and black vest Huw?

Ok by me, it's a shame you can't run Phil but I think we'll win the v40 with that team. Al are you definitely running?

I'm going to have to pull out of the relays tonight. I apologise for the (very) short notice. I've had a problem with my knee that I thought would reslve itself but it hasn't, and I don't want to risk aggravating it before the Cardiff 10k.

Al Jones is running in the v40s team with me and Huw. Unlucky Chris. There is a mixed category, can Oli Sean and Sandra form a mixed team? Or can anyone else run?

Well with Oli and Chris pulling out at such late notice - I will go for a run at lunch-time instead.
Thanks Phil for trying to sort out something - perhaps I should get a bit quicker before I throw
my name in for another relay spot.

Huw Evans, Al Jones, Matt Hurford were 3rd overall and winning vets team. Mike Davies, Terry Caveney, Paul Morris were our admirable second team. 61 teams took part. 1st and 2nd overall went to Fairwater. San Domenico in 4th place but I think are given 3rd place as our team won the vets. San Domenico ladies team won.
Race placements are weird!
Well done fellas!
