As many of us already know, the World Half Marathon Championships are taking place in Cardiff next year on Saturday 26th March. I've just noticed a new website is up (www.cardiff2016.co.uk) and you can pre-register your interest on a link on the site.

£49 is a but steep, I don't think it was that expensive when it was in Bristal.( I remeber seeing Paula Rattcliff and the heavens open just before the masses start) Plus there is no real transport or accomdation cost to think about. However it is a once in a life time experince it won't happen again in Cardiff at least not in my lifetime. Don't forget you can volunteer too! The fiver in my wallet says Bank of England on it. I wasn't aware that the people of Wales-shire had been given permission to issue their own currency, just given the honour of making coinage.
