I feel I have recovered from my overtraing and my only issue was my hamstring which hasn't been right since November! I had a bit of Physio on it today and the difference is remarkable! I haven't felt comfortable sprinting for weeks as it felt so tight. I was on an easy run and I was doing my best not to turn it into a fartlek session as I could run freely without the feeling that I was going to pull something. I'm so happy that I'm going in the right direction now, I might even run Wokingham, Just got to work on my fitness!

Cheers James I'm going to be working tommorow. I will be on regular hours in a few weeks though so I will attend the club a lot more often then. I'm 38 today so the over 40 category draws closer! Edited by user 28 January 2015 19:24:33(UTC)

I can empathise Lyndon. I pulled my hamstring in the cross challenge (on a background of a fall where I jarred my back) and felt like i have been going backwards with my running for a while. After a session of Physio the difference was amazing and while it is still not perfect it is so much freer. I, like you, wanted to go quicker on my easy run and had to hold myself back. Happy birthday by the way

Happy birthday, Lyndon! We should do birthday threads. Is that doable as not everyone is on Facebook. Edited by user 29 January 2015 14:06:31(UTC)
