Jeff, could I possibly set off a bit earlier please? I'll be lucky to break an hour let alone do 56, and don't really want a solo 10 mile run! Could I maybe go off at 9.03 instead? Cheers

That's the point of the handicap. If you're unfit, you pay the price. If I am able to run it I'm in a worse fitness situation.

If I'm gonna run 10 miles hard I'd rather do it with people than on my own strolling in last, I can't hold sub 6 for 10k at the mo let alone 10 miles! I'm more than happy to be excluded from the actual handicap results, id just rather have some company.
The usual point of a handicap stu is that you all end up finishing around the same time to make it interesting. If you do it off your 9.03 slot I'll stick with my 9.04 and give you some encouragement when I catch you ;)
