I've heard today that Patricia Jones of Brackla Harriers has to pull out of Snowdonia marathon - so has a place to transfer/sell. I'll add her contact details to this message when she gives that to me.

does anyone know of spare accomodation for this date? were are i'm in petes eats.. but for various reasons we are looking to take the kids with us now.. so we need to find an alterative or put one adult one kid else where.. i'd really perfer a place i can put the kids in a twin room.. and get some peace at night so we get peace.. please email me if you have any options james1973bruce@gmail.com

Just decided that I have not done enough training to get around in under 4 hours so unfortunately will not be travelling or participating this year. Anybody who wants to run and take my place then a transfer has to be done by 30 September.

Race tracking has just gone live with race numbers as well. 1177 for me. If i finished in position 1177 I would be very happy!

I forgot to update you all about the zip wire. I rang them back early Sept to enquire about booking but the problem was if it got cancelled due to weather then we would have to rebook to go together. As much as i like you guys i wasn't planning on taking my holidays with you so i couldnt group book - in any event the day after the marathon was full. The upshot is i do not have to face near death dangling over a quarry.

Around 10ish as people are still picking up their numbers. But enough time to have some porridge and use the loo! Don't forget you need some warm clothes and your onezies as it's get cold up there and as well as being very templemental.
