I must admit I find the format of these pages hard to read and understand.

It also takes ages to find anything such as who has won what in the past. Would it be a good idea to move this section to the results page and reformat? Any ideas anyone?

Good point. I'd agree with that. Using the results site could help update the championships automatically.

Thanks Jerome. I'm pleased to hear that the championship pages are being read but sorry to hear that the tabulation/presentation seems unclear.

I agree that the linear nature of the reporting creates difficulties in analysing past performances and I'm sure that the club results' site can add to the speed and clarity with which data is analysed and presented. I think that this issue needs further discussion(committee?) so that members can get the most out of our results' provision.

One area I think that we can develop is the use of historical data to challenge members to surpass the efforts of their predecessors.

Scrolling back through screens and screens of previous updates makes the championship pages difficultto read. Hyperlinks would make it better to jump through to the update you want.

Thanks Matt.

The existing format is based on the initial website format and I agree wholeheartedly with the difficulty in searching for historical data in its current format. We were all learning ... on the job.

One intention of the existing championship format was to provide members with details of how their efforts were rewarded .... and to check that their points allocations were correct.

The current provision is subject to a certain human element consequently - GIGO.

I'm all in favour of reducing the amount of work(duplication) needed to complete a task and this one in particular.

If we have the technology ......
