Good to see that the race has been resurrected, Mel. A tasty 3k and a tough Tug-o-War.

I said "It's ok I've got an alarm"
He said "Does it put out fires......................

Think from memory I won this race back in 2000 or 2001 ???? Mel would know. Enjoyed the 1st prize of a free lunch at a local pub (I think ..) .... good luck to all who run and enjoy the day.

Thanks for that Evatt, you just deterred over 100 visitors. On the contrary, our village, is a happy welcoming place. It is currently twinned with Basra, Luhansk, Beirut, Gaza and Barry and we are proud to have Kate Adie as Bingo caller. We have never lost a runner in the woods mainly owing to the (Optional to Purchase) Flak Jackets.

Matt H and I went to this event a couple of years back. Very good it is too. Lovely community event, so I recommend it. Not a long distance to run but a mini challenge all the same. Great family event. Can't make it this weekend as it's my father's 90th birthday.
