What i had in mind was to meet at the club at the normal time i.e. 7pm and then jog over to the ambulance station where Phil does the mile time trial and then do the session. Personally I am doing 3x1 mile with some 200m and 300m reps afterwards. Obviously if you are new to all this you do not have to do what I am doing, kilometre reps is one other option. As there is no marked shorter reps (i do these on the track) there is not the opportunity to do these and following on from other threads on the forum perhaps you could do these a different day? Hopefully see some of you for this.

Heart says yes, legs after a Phil cook track session say NO!! Still deciding whether another rep session so soon is wise!! Will definitely be up for this when I haven't beasted myself on the track. Thanks for organising Claire.

hi claire, i got into town and i couldnt get into the grounds, i walked up to near nazareth house but all the gates were locked, shame really x

Sorry sarah. I did not realise that the gates would be locked. We got over a sty by blackweir to access the park. Hopefully we will do it again and you can come and join us.

I am definitely up for this again Claire. 3 reps at 6.22, 6.22 and 6.26 means that I am sure this can help me get faster. If I can string this pace together without the recovery 2 mins I would have hit a 19.50 5k.. Happy with that.

Glad that you all got some thing out of it (i don't want to say enjoy as not sure you can enjoy mile reps!) Next week I have an easy run planned but can happily run over with you all and do my run in the park and help lead the session. If you are happy to try mile reps again we can or perhaps try some kilometre reps for a change? Also Huw hope your calf is ok.

Thanks Claire I'm up for reps again. Welcome to all our new members, Helen and Sai I don't feel that I'm any faster but I do feel stronger if that makes any sense. But something must be working as I been picking up the occasional prize.

good ive a grand stand finish option... (idea)...suggestion is that we start in reverse order.. (approx only.. ) allowing for the approx time difference over 3 miles that you guess you will do.. that way you have a bit of a catchup going on.. A tough week, next week - SSAFA and 1 mile TT. A recovery/easy run may be appropriate if you are doing either or both.
