The dates for these races are 21 May, 25 June and the 23 July all on a Wednesday. £5 per race start at 7.30 pm at Bute Park registration from 6pm at the Blackweir Tavern. Prizes in each age group as well as series prizes to be won. It's a good speed session and it's for a good cause the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association. Last year it was well attended compared to previous years. Hope to see you there!

good on you for promoting Tracey It's so hard to find anything about this on-line with only minimal details on the WAA site and the race not even advertised in the usual places (RW etc) Pity - as it's such a good cause, well supported by those who volunteer to help out, and a great little race series, starting and finishing at a pub (which is always a good thing..)

We used to have on our short course champs and it was listed in runners world but for some reasons it's not advertised so much. I was surprised there was flyers at Park Run. Although I do know some people don't like it as it is very competitive and full of club runners. But it is shame as it is for a good cause.

I think Alex Donald of Welsh Athletics was helping SSAFA to prepare the results. It would be worth contacting him if anyone thinks their time is wrong. Caitlin, I will hold off adding your result to our database until it's clarified.

There have been issues with the results and/or course at SSAFA every year since I've been running.
Not sure it's worth contacting Alex. I've tried this in the past but mistakes are always ignored/denied.

Is the ability (of the organisers) to produce timely, accurate, results seen as a prerequisite when race licences are issued?

However I am sure that they are a week tomorrow and not tomorrow as I think Claire is racing. Thats not to say that if someone wants to run them that i won't join them as I am keen to start it asap.
