I was the Referee of today's Cardiff 10 kms Road Race. Several club members wore the wrong numbers. A man ran wearing a woman's number and would have been in the Scoring Ladies team. A club member watching the race has a Recorded Time. This can cause serious problems in the event of injuries

On this note, I swapped numbers with Chris via the appropriate channels (have emails to prove it). However he's listed (as himself, not me) but as a Les Croups member. Not sure why this happened as when we swapped he told the organisers he was unaffiliated. Liz

I can confirm that Stuart's number and chip is still sat on the kitchen table in a sealed envelope. There must've been an error at some point before it got to him. Jen - I hope you can get the results amended.

Sounds like there was some confusion. Jen - don't worry, when i found out Stuart's chip had crossed the line, the first thing I did was double check what was left at home - thought maybe I'd managed to either use the wrong chip or hand it to you by mistake. I was quite relieved when I found his envelope left there untouched. These things happen. I'm sure the organisers can amend any errors.
