To celebrate the commitment and achievements of those running for Les Croupiers in Spring Marathons we will be holding another creative cake making and cake eating competition.
Thursday 17th April
After the Club run, in the bar.
Judging categories:
*Name of creation
*Appearance
*Taste
Anyone can compete with a cake or sweet snack. Everyone is a judge!
Results and the prestigious prize will be awarded on the night.

OK, it says 114 views of this post and only Tracey has responded.
Does anyone else want to pledge allegiance to cake baking next week or shall I bake muffins for 300 members and claim my own (rather snazzy) prize.
I know there is apathy to running, but I will be even more shocked by disinterest in a cake fest.

having not entered this compettion before i wonder if the lack of posts means people are being coy in their cake baking for fear of someone stealing their cake ideas......
I will bake a cake - probably a few but only one will make it to the club on the Thurdsay.
Looking forward to taking part in judging too

Ok,
having just been given what is promised as a "killer" cupcake recipe I am going to try and bake some for the night..
Hopefully they don't actually live up to their billing..

Unfortunately a sudden requirement for my presence in Saundersfoot on Thursday has negated my ability to bake anything for the club. Apologies for withdrawing from the bake off but She who Must Be Obeyed has spoken.

My masterpiece is complete entitled 'This looks how i felt after the marathon' won't win awards for appearance but once it is chiselled out the cake tin it may taste alright.

A huge cake turn out on Thursday. Also the busiest evening in the bar for a while, I suspect more to do with Mick's marathon news and award than the prospect of lots of delicious and free cake.
Winner of the special spatula was Ange Champion for her tasty passion fruit cake.
Thanks to everyone for joining in with the cake fest.
