This Sunday, 30 March was designated as a date for a club long run some time ago.
The reason it hasn't been advertised is due to the fact that it comes the morning after the dinner dance, it's the same morning as the popular Forest of Dean Half Marathon, and the clocks go forward an hour.
I ask you loyal members, does this argument stand up to any kind of scrutiny?
Are you seriously looking for a morning off?
No excuses! I'll be driving in from Barry for a run (around 2 hours) at 9.30AM, and I expect you to be there.
Advance warning: warmer weather is due this weekend, but for us enlightened folk who were at the Barry 40, we're already acclimatised.

PS. I've asked my mother, and she seems to think that she can find something better to do on Mother's Day...

Mick - look forward to it, see you and others there, if not the night before at the club do - just to confirm it is the handicap start.

Enjoyed our run this morning. Thanks all.

Gerry pushed the pace in the last mile.....left me in his wake. He, consequently, had to buy the coffee.
