This Sunday is the planned date for the next Group Run, we are looking at ways of getting the maximum out of it. As a result of this we are looking to have paced groups, that way everyone gets to run with someone all the way.

We will be looking to start at 9.30am, from the Oval (Handicap 10 start), distances can be arranged as required. If you are planning to come along please reply below and give an indication as to what sort of length run you are intending to do.

We are hoping to have groups running at the equivalent of : 60 ; 65 ; 70 ; 75 ; 80 mins for 10 miles, so if you fancy the role of pacing let me know. If other groups are required we will do our best to cater for them.

Thanks

Phil

Phil,
I will be there for this. I average a little over 8 min miles so the 80 minutes is for me I guess.

Cheers

I'm looking for 20-21 miles at 8 min/mile pace, hopefully picking it up in the last 5 miles. Anyone looking at a similar distance/pace?

Hi

I'm up for 18m at 9.00/30(ish) pace.

I assume there's a route planned for this distance?

Hopefully the route will be on ankle-friendly tarmac.
If so, please count me in for 75 minutes pace, for 10 - 15 miles.

I have a stinking cold.
I doubt I'll run at all today.
So carry on without me.
Next time, hopefully.

I'll be there, Dave, if only to try to slow you down.

Good stuff - sounds like you're ready. A rough calculation will mean you will have burnt enough calories for around 20 ice creams down by the sea!
