Thursday night head-torch run anyone?

As 'Smoke City' pointed out, rain tends to go away when the sun shines, so I'm working on a theory (and it's a long shot..) that LED head-torches may have a similar effect
The evidence so far 'weak' (all those drenchings cycling to and from work) but GraemeD and I thinking of doing some further research c/o a gentle head-torch plod along the TT 7m summer route, Thursday night.
Emphasis on 'gentle' (as I'm trashed, avoiding tarmac, keen to do the Club Handicap and in no shape to repeat last week's excellent organised club run..)
Anyone fancy joining us?

Ahh.. remember to post a day in advance.. as my is on charge at home... if you can tollerate a 0.5 mile detour on the summer route i'm game..
let me know.. i'll be at the club.. or i can run on ahead.. maybe by-pass the longer bit on haily park and meet you again prior to the cannal entrance..

Thanks for the run last night Aine and Graeme - running through road/traffic free woods and shadowy trail with a small but powerful beam (in cold, clear weather) one of life's most underrated pleasures. LED technology has created a whole new type of winter running

Gwent league Saturday, I'm hobbling again, so excuses aplenty to stay off the hard stuff ...any off-road headtorch fanciers this Thursday? t @Richard - 'glowing throngs'??!

I'm dithering about tonight, even though some exciting new obstacles (plus misc 'tree body parts') have appeared along the summer route in recent days. Will do if I can escape from work by 6, cycle home, dry off, then get back to the club - with mojo intact...
