GWENT LEAGUE #1 – CARDIFF – SATURDAY 15 OCTOBER 2022
Gwent League season is almost upon us. The first fixture is at the Cardiff Cross Challenge. Ladies are off at 1:40 pm and run 2 laps. Men are running at 2:50 pm and run 3 laps. I presume that MV65s are running in the ladies’ fixture as per previous years but will confirm this as soon as I can.
Please sign up by replying to this post. You do not need to sign up using the Cardiff Cross Challenge event webpage unless you want your result to count towards the British Athletics Cross Challenge Series. Please let me know if you are signing up using their website.
On the day, please check-in with your team manager at least one hour before your race.
Cross country is a great team running event. The club excels when we get a strong turn-out throughout the field. Regardless of how you perceive your running ability or pace, I strongly encourage you to take part. If you’re new to the club or haven’t run cross-country before, please feel free to have a chat with me or any of the grizzled veterans of cross country 😊
