This off road half marathon is excellent. Well organised by the FoD Rotary Club, a scenic course and best of all, a mass turn out by Les Croups. All topped off with a bus trip and post race cake consumption. (Get baking!)
For newbies to off road, this is definitely the one for you. David McD has started another off road forum thread on race entries.
Huge apologies for staging the Dinner Dance on the Saturday night, small oversight of mine. I'll maintain I had the date first, not this race!

37 seater Watts bus departs 7.45am from Cardiff Metropolitan Uni car park, Western Avenue.
Arrival time 9am, race start 10am.
Bus returns to Cardiff after last runner has returned from the forest and we have had our celebration of cake. Usually 1pm ish.
Once again, this bus is subsidised by the Club. Members £6. Non members (who secretly wish they belonged to the Greatest Club in the World) £8. Pay on the day.
