Hi Bakers, Tasters and Wish-I-Was-There-ers,
All of the charity nominations fulfilled the criteria of being meaningful to a club member and or having significance to the club/community. On the basis of the number of nominations and ‘likes’ for those nominations, the Club Committee agreed that monies for this year should be split evenly between the two most popular, EDS UK and Mencap Cymru.
Dave W has suggested that the other nominations, City Hospice and Oasis, should be our nominated charity for Bake Off 2022. I think that’s a top idea!
If you would like to donate, you can do so through the club bank account. Please use the reference ‘Bake Off’ and do so by 17th December. (bank details: sort code: 090129, account number: 38532395, account name: Les Croupiers Running Club)

Minor Q - the Croups account details you shared are different to that I use for our family membership renewals (sort code 77-62-01). Have we got two club accounts - or am I using an old/wrong one for membership?

just a quick update - today our Treasurer, Richie, has made donations on behalf of LCRC, to EDS UK and Mencap Cymru, totalling £217 to each charity. Top fundraising folks, many thanks.
