VOLUNTEER RUN LEADERS
Hi all - Hope eveyone is well
Don't get too excited as we do not have a date for when we will be able to restart club sessions but we are hoping it will not be too far away - fingers crossed.
We are assuming that when we restart that we will have to follow the same approach as we have done previously so to plan ahead for this we are looking for those amazing people who will be willing to volunteer themselves to take on the role of a run leader at our club sessions.
A quick reminder of the main tasks a run leader will need to be prepared to do for each session is:
- Check runners onto the eventbrite system (preferably at the start of the session)
- Ensure only runners who have booked onto the session take part
- Give the run briefing
- Help to ensure all runners adhere to social distancing
- Know the routes for the sessions where required
The plan is still too run sessions on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays as previously and further details on this will be posted once we have a confirmed date.
If you are willing to volunteer as a run leader please can you reply to this post stating which sessions you would be able to cover.
Once we have a list of volunteers and start date we will look to sort out the rota
