I've closed my Facebook account as they keep on suspending it.
I use a VPN sever to be able to watch regional Austrian
and German tv. I always disconnect from the server when I use
Facebook, but it seems they track your usage information
even when you aren't using FB. So I'm closing them down before
they close me down!
This means I'll be missing the latest club news.
Is the latest news posted on Twitter? I've rarely used it, so
am a newbie. Is there an official Les Croups Twitter page?

Hi Philip,
Twitter is used but to be honest the usage is spotty as it isn't the same sort of social media as facebook that allows us to limit access and have the same sort of conversations as we may have in real life.
If you need to find us then just search for @lescroupiersrc

Sounds very odd, Phil. Using a VPN shouldn't make any difference ON or OFF. Just tried it with fb, no probs. Is it something you are posting? |

Hi Howard,
I rarely go on Facebook. I've posted a few things on the Croups page
and a few on the pages of bars I go to in Hamburg and in the UK, but
nothing controversial. Other than that I don't use it.
I've Googled VPNs and Facebook and lots of people using FB and VPNs
have had problems. I just assumed that was the reason they keep
on suspending my account.
They keep on reactivating the account when I ask them to, but
as I hardly ever use it, it's not not worth the hassle.
