Steve, I think I may have been running behind you for the last part of my 4 mile attempt on Saturday (I could see you in the distance but couldn’t catch up to you).
Alan - apologies, it had slipped my mind that I hadn’t donated, I will do so now and hopefully do my run tomorrow morning or evening - I’ll update you with my time once I’ve done the run.

Hi Alan,Did my run today from Broad St in Canton along the Ely Trail then turned on to Penarth Rd and finished near the BMW garage on the right.Time was 20.07. Thanks Alan.

Did mine this evening, a circuit involving King George 5th Ave, Heath Park Ave, Heathwood Road and finishing back on King George 5th Ave.
Time 21:18.

Well done Jenny and everyone else. I ran the same course earlier which I ran last week. I must have had a flyer last week, I was much slower today although not going flat out. Then again it was much hotter, which I hate ☀️😂.

Great idea, and well done on your times. Peter & I ran together through our village yesterday wearing our red, white and blue kit in 27.55, then I ran on my own in 23.00. Think I was too busy admiring the bunting and VE displays! Stay safe all.

Thanks very much to everyone who ran, and to our virtual supporters, Richie and Yvonne Bullen. Our relay started on 2nd May in Bute Park and finished on the 75th Anniversary of VE day in Bedfordshire.
Times were:
Steve Lewis 20:35
Claire George 29:04
Dave George 19:28
Julie Lewis 24:57
Terry Caveney 20:07
Alan Mason 21:18
Mike Davies 22:11
Jenny Martin 21:32
Peter Lawley 27:55
Veronica Singleton Lawley 23:00
Our total time was 3:50:07, so we were sub 4.
More importantly we raised £120 for MIND, which is a lot more than my original target. The work of MIND will be needed more than ever in the current situation and this money will help them carry on their valuable work. On behalf of them, and on behalf of our friend Jon, thank you.
