Berlin Marathon has been cancelled. The Berlin Senate has banned all mass event until October 24. No surprises there!!

This may not bode well for the year's racing (or indeed the sporting calendar in general). I guess that when lockdown rules are relaxed it may be on a gradual basis, and we may be returning the kids to school, and reopening shops before mass participation events (including concerts, football matches and races) are allowed to go ahead. I must admit that I was hoping this would be sorted well before the end of October though.
