Alan - I’ve no doubt you will! That mile felt like hard work, don’t fancy my chances over two miles!

Actually Jenny, I reckon you've got this.
15:04 for a loop involving Maes Y coed Road, Heathwood Road and Heathway. Ran round two and a bit times for the 2 miles. Will probably use multiple laps of this for the rest of the series.
See if I can set Jenny a bit more of a challenge on the 3 mile next week.

Hi Marcus - you appear to have diddled Dave James out of a few positions in the table - he did a 6:31 mile in his run as well as a 6:52. I only noticed as his quickest time matched mine, when I went flat out for a mile while his was just part of a much longer tempo run! Cheers! A proper two mile effort still to come from me - maybe tomorrow?

Marcus - my submission for the 2 miles = 13:34, done at lunchtime today as part of my lunchtime run. Mile 1 was 6:42, mile 2 was 6:52, slightly downhill for the first mile and slightly uphill for the second to arrive at roughly the same place (on the parkrun course). Cheers!

Hi Marcus, I managed to run 12:48 early pm on parkrun course.(6:18 and 6:30). Some way off my Welsh record set 40 yrs ago! That was 8:20. Please could you amend my 1M time last week. I did 6:31 not 6:52. Thanks, Dave.

Thanks again for organising this Marcus - it has been a much needed boost to encourage me to strive for something more than just going out for a run. Karen will post evidence on Facebook for me, but I can report that I did the 3 miles at lunchtime today and posted a time of 20:40. I may see if I can have another go later in the week, but somehow doubt that I will beat that if I do. I was really pleased with that time, considering the fact that I had nobody to chase... Cheers!

Wow Chad that is super quick, and has helped me immensely. I wouldn’t get anywhere near that and as it’s only yours and Hectors results I’ve been trying to keep up with so I’m now going to chill out and slow down (Hectors already agreed we share the Rioja regardless of who wins. . You are running fantastically well, well done.

Cheers Dave. Karen did ask me if I wanted to post my time this early in the week as it would give others something to aim for - I think she was thinking about you!

Interesting to see some of the really fast boys doing a faster average in the 2 miles than they did in the 1 mile - looks like they weren't really trying in week one!

It's going to be tough to catch David McD.... with a six second lead after the first two distances...

Hi Marcus, I managed to do 18:42 for the 3M challenge this week trying to avoid a few people on route which was on the Park Run course. Thanks for organising- it does give a focus to the day's training as Alan said.
