Hi there,
I was hoping to put my name down for the club handicap next weekend - the info says to see Jeff Aston, but I'm sorry I don't know who you are and I can't make it to club tonight as I'm working, next week is still uncertain. Is there any other way of getting my name on the list? Can I just show up on the day?

I'm also keen to run in the Club Handicap 10. I was at the club last night but usually only have time to do the run and then need to head off to pick up my daughter from Guides so I don't get a chance to hang around afterwards. I'm assuming you need to know numbers before the day to organise the brunch!

Can someone let Jeff know so that he can put my name down? What's the entry fee? I can arrange to get it to him in advance if you can't pay on the day.

I would estimate it will take me 80 minutes to do 10 miles so I'll need to start at 8:40am.

This year we have a new route for the Handicap 10 courtesy of Mr Aston - details can be found on the club web-site. Start and Finish are still in the usual place in Llandaff Fields.

Hi Jeff, I've got a friend who'd like to run, been trying persuade him to join the club. Would it be possible for him to run? He'd do it in about 65mins. Is it possible to pay on the day? If not I can get the money to you Thursday at the club.

I have decided to run the Handycap and use my week off to be ready for the Wokingham Half. I left my money at the club Thursday night.

Looking at the map it seems to be like this. Im a bit hazy on the route so I would apreciate it if somebody could correct it or make it clearer for me.Confused

Many thanks!

1.A circle of Llandaff feilds and right onto Cathedral Road.

2.Along the road and right onto Cardiff Road.

3. Right onto Mill Lane before you hit Western Avenue.

4. Right onto western Avenue.

5.Past the club and right towards Pontcana Feilds.

6.Take a left across the tree lined path then right at the end before the bridge.

7. Straight on past the Swalec Stadium and left over the river bridge at 3.5 miles (Cannot picture this bridge in my mind, hope its Marshalled)

8.Left off the bridge onto the park run course?

9.Follow this for a mile and turn around at? (Near the main road) and repeat.

Hi Lyndon. I suggest that you follow someone! Once running all your blood seems to drain from your head to your legs. I am not sure that marshals, signs or even a satnav will ensure the correct route for you.. Good luck.
