Following a successful and enjoyable WM, T&F Championship at Brecon yesterday, can you follow it up with an entry to the British Masters T&F in Birmingham? Please note the closing date for entry.At the moment, there are 397 entries (no entries from LC yet) but most events and categories only have a small number of entries. We have two representatives at the BM Track and Field Championships in Birmingham this weekend - Mel James and Kieran Mc Donnell.
Good luck to both as tomorrow's weather forecast suggests difficult conditions for running.
Mel is running the 100m and 400m tomorrow and Keiran - just the 400m.
On Sunday, Mel has the 200m and Kieran the 800m.
We all wish them a successful competition.

Thanks for those Mike. The results of these championships are always impressive.
Well done to Mel and Kieran, but to add a personal note, even though he's an ex-member, I thought the gold medal in the 5000 metres by 53 year old Lee Aherne in 16:29 was sensational.

Mel's next competitive track events will be at the European Masters Athletic Championships in Venice next month.
