Final WM T&F League meeting for 2019, Wednesday, 10th July 2019, 6:45pm. Venue: Michael Sobell Leisure Centre, The Ynys, Aberdare, CF44 7RP. Events: Time Track Time Field 1900 200m 18:45 Discus (W+M60), Javelin (M35+M60), High Jump 1920 800m 19:30 Triple Jump 1940 100m 19:45 Javelin (W+M60, Discus (M35+M50) 2000 3000m 2030 4x400m Timetable of EventsA relatively new track at Aberdare. Les Croupiers Ladies' Team have a commanding lead in the WM, T&F League with one fixture to go. Individually, Eirian Arwyn leads the W60 and Claire Bruce is third in the W35. https://docs.wixstatic.c...4532a324ff3f27a5385a.pdfFor the men, Swansea Harriers (874) have a clear lead over Les Croupiers RC (578) and third placed Brecon (550). https://docs.wixstatic.c...41649ce4d6b05808dbff.pdfIndividually Keiron McDonnell and Mike Davies are second and third respectively in the M60. I'm sure that Brecon will be all out to snatch second place from us at Aberdare on the 10th July. Can you make a difference in the final fixture? Give it a try. Closing date for entry - 2nd July. Just a reminder from Rod Davies, Welsh Masters.
"The final Welsh Masters League meeting of 2019 is fast approaching. It's at the spanking new track at Aberdare on 10 July.
Closing date for entries is the end of 2 July (Tuesday night, so make it a job for the weekend!), and all entries must be made through the BMAF website. Just log on as you did renewing your membership, and scroll down to Events I can Enter. It's £5 for as many events as you like! Late entries cannot and will not be accepted.
The reason for this is to minimise the administration required on the night. Given how few of us are doing it, this is essential! We are always short of people, not just as technical officials, but to help with generally running the meeting. So if you are injured, or bringing a supporter who would like to join in the fun without all that running, jumping and throwing malarkey, please let us know if you can provide any help.
The need will be even greater at the Championships, as that will be an all day meeting at Brecon on 21 July (entries close 12 July). If we had enough people we could initiate a shift system, so that nobody need be stuck on a job all day. Please give some thought to helping us run a good meeting.
I hope to see you all at either or both of these meetings.
