Not in our Club Champs etc, but lots of history, new course, great fun and for a very cause

First race this Wednesday, 7:30pm. Registration Blackweir Tavern 5:30 to 7:00

I love how they have taken the barcode system from parkrun and used it to great effect here for much faster results.

PDF is corrupt though and won't convert into an Excel spreadsheet so putting the results on the club website is going to take some time unless we can get a copy of the results in Excel from them. You can't even search in the PDF file.

Marcus - I made exactly that point to Graham last night (and you can imagine how that was received).
I suppose it is the first step into the 21st century, but the system did crash last night whilst the presentation was being done. Always interesting to compare a race like this with, say Rose Inn, where you can view the results almost as soon as you've finished. And with former Les Croups member/Castles Relay Supremo Geoff Cram involved, I'm not surprised.

With any technology there is always the chance that it will crash I guess but it's definitely a step up from previous years!

I got the results in Excel format so have now loaded to the club website
