We missed you Mike! Loved it.. Conditions perfect as you say and a wonderful club turnout with many first time LCRC fell runners doing brilliantly well on a brutal course with lots of fiddly bits, and requiring careful navigation.
Some at the sharp end of the race missed a control point and incurred time penalties as a consequence. Richard was given the M50 prize but, like the gent he is, handed it back immediately saying he'd also accidently gone off piste.
No such problems for mountain man Graeme, or ramblers like yours truly. "Ideal hill walking weather" aka the above photo evidence of shame for me. Will bring trekking poles next time..
