Hi all, I'm organising a collection of used running shoes for the Cardiff based charity Oasis, who provide sporting opportunities for asylum seekers and refugees.
I'll be dropping this off to Oasis on Friday afternoon (26th Oct). Any donations gratefully received!* I shall collect from club on Thursday (25th) evening.
Local charity shops take sportswear (I just bought a pearl izumi top for the bargain price of £1.49). However if you have a collection of unused sportswear that you would like to donate to Oasis they also take clothing so I can collect this too.
As I'm out of action on the running front I will probably come to club before the club run departs, (returning home to sulk as you all run off into the distance! :-/)

* when I say "any" donations gratefully received, obviously what I mean is donations of a certain standard! No stinky shoes thanking you, and if you have an awful fugal infection just sling used shoes in the recycling bin!
