Entries are now open for this http://www.fabian4.co.uk/default.aspx?EventID=962

There is also a shorter race from Ogwen 13km/1220m. Full details here www.welsh1000m.org.

I would love to do this again, was 1 minute off the W50 record last year but will need to get my feet sorted first........

You need to be able to navigate or to have a good local guide BigGrin

I was discussing this with Katie Beecher, and it's on both our ' must do' list. At the moment my ankles are too dodgy and it's castles weekend. Though you could do this on the Saturday and run a Sunday leg!

This year should be about my 20th Welsh 1000m, for me its always the highlight of the year and it drags everything out of me, testing me and sometimes my sanity. When the weather is just right for us slow ones ( faster runners always get lost in the driving wind and rain more intent on going fast what ever the direction)I quite often finish higher up in the field, which always cheers me up.
If you haven't run it, your honestly are missing something special, but that's just my opinion and I am biased towards this race.
It is a shame that it clashes with the Castles relay as I had a great w/e helping out last year.

There's always a catch!

Never done, but would love to. Which category would you go for?

Also the same weekend as the LAMM ('the Connoisseurs Mountain Marathon'), back in 2014 after a sabbatical in 2013 - venue '1 hour from Inverness'.

Cairngorm?
