Tuesday’s (9/10/18) session : 12-16 x 400m (around current 5k pace), recovery 60-80 sec. (quicker groups between 60-70 secs, and not so quick groups between 70-80 sec).

I suggest doing 2 reps down and 2 back – run from 0-400m, take the recovery at that point then run from 400m-800m, recover at the far end and then do the same coming back. Run on the left.

With the Cardiff Half on Sunday and the Gwent Lge this Saturday some may want to reduce the number of reps, that’s up to individuals.

Meet at the Llandaff Fields gates opposite the rugby club for a 6.30pm start. If you have a head torch or running light that may be useful from now on, the path does have some lighting but it isn’t the best, but it is better than the alternatives until the track is ready.
