I have just entered this race. I ran it 6 times in the 1990s.
Fantastically quick course, narrow and potentially congested uphill first mile.
Then virtually flat and most importantly sheltered 11 miles around the lake.
Final mile downhill, the reverse of the first mile.
With a 1.00PM start, you can drive up and back in a day (which I will aim to do).
Excellent race in its own right, or build-up for an autumn marathon.
