Tomorrow it looks like it will feel like -3 and might be raining in Pontypool. There is also a yellow ice warning which will likely be less relevant as the day goes on. I anticipate that the course will be very muddy and possibly waterlogged.

I am going to prepare for the worst which will mean layers and decent kit. Been caught out once but it will not be happening again!

Just wanted to get this in peoples minds. Breathable waterproof kit is a good idea and if you can protect your head. A breathable waterproof hat could be the best option but anything is better than nothing.

It might not be that bad but it could be, remember Brecon! I am glad I don’t have too! Smile

Thanks, Lyn. Yes I remember Brecon.
That's precisely why I'm planning two and a half hours on the Taff Trail tomorrow.
Good luck to everyone doing the Gwent League.

Fair play my kit was spot on today and I was very pleased with how I ran.

All I think I need to do now is to take a map with me and then I should hopefully have everything covered! Smile

I agree Tracey lol.
Big thank you to Phil , John and his helpers for all their hard work 're the tent etc.
Massive support from the ladies. It would have been easy to head home after their race for a nice hot bath.
Croups spirit lives on......
