Just in case members were unaware that there's a Welsh Athletics League Fixture 4 at Swansea on the 29th July 2017. It will have 3000m races for men (12:36pm) and women (12:50pm). Further details are on the Welsh Athletics website. http://www.welshathletic...17-swansea-timetable.pdf The last time I competed in such a meeting was in the early Eighties. Consequently, I'm uncertain whether there are any entry standards. Those who have Club Championship Short Course aspirations may be interested in this opportunity to pick up some vital points. In fact, an alternative might be Swansea parkrun..... it would be irresponsible to suggest .... an early warm up.
