Been trapped on a night shift but I start a new job in Bristol next week!

My hours are 7am-2pm initially but are open to changing between the hours of 8am-7pm. Should be at the club a week Thursday and I miss it, always train on my own. Sad

Its a bit of a commute but I have decided to drive to Avonmouth Park and ride as its only a 6.2 mile run from there. Could take the bike on a rack for easy days.

I could even park in Chepstow and go to the old severn bridge as it has a cycle path and bike the 16 miles to work and back.

I can do track and the club now and I am buzzing about it. Fine unless my hours move to a 7pm finish but I have an understanding boss now (worked with him before) and am good at negotiating.

I have booked all the Croups races starting with the 12 stage on the 8th and have much better prospects at this job. Got to be a winner this move! BigGrin

Anybody know when they are reducing the Severn Bridge Toll as I heard they were?

Here's the proposed changes but no fixed date, and who knows, this may change again in the wake of Brexit Britain.

I noticed that there is a course change on Saturday for the Parkrun. Would have preferred the normal course.

I have upped my training but I might aim for 17.20 this time. Too many variables and I might not have it in my legs but worth a go especialy if there is no wind.

Progess does not seem to have started to slow yet. Got to fail sooner or later though! If its not broke dont fix it!

Never trained anywhere near this hard in honesty but never enjoyed it this much either!

Doing strength training and track soon.
