Right then - the update is as follows:
Tickets are £10 person (the club is subsidising the event)
Food options (please choose one!)
1. Curry, rice & naan bread
2. Pulled pork, stuffing, apple sauce in a bap
3. Veggie curry, rice etc
4. Veggie wrap
There'll be potato wedges, salads etc and desserts to follow.
We'll be selling tickets on Sunday at the AGM and then on Thursdays and at parkrun until 1 March.
You can buy tickets from me, Janet Holmes, Lolly Burvill, Michelle Amblin, Marcus Meyrick (And if you're lucky Dan Luffman!)
I should say at this point that Janet has helped out massively liaising with sorting the venue and even made Rich do the tickets!
Hope to see as many of you as possible there on the night.
There'll also be the same DJ there as last year.

The deadline for buying tickets is nearly here. You will be able to buy tickets this Thursday at the club or at parkrun on Saturday.
we need to confirm numbers and pay the Zen Bar by 1st March.
If you have expressed an interest in buying a ticket either on the forum or on Facebook, but haven't yet got your ticket, please let me or Janet, Lolly, Marcus and Michelle know.
If you want a ticket and don't think you can make the club on Thursday or parkrun, let us know and we'll try and help.
Look forward to seeing you all there to support the worthy award winners.

The annual dinner dance awards is this Friday. Just a few reminders:
Arrival: 7-7:30pm
Food will be available from
8pm
Close: midnight
Food: we have ordered and paid for exactly what you ordered so one meal per person. Please stick to what you ordered as we don't want anyone to go without their meal.
The curry is served with rice and the pork & veggie wrap will be served with wedges.
If possible please bring your tickets with you so we can check your order if necessary. If you don't have your ticket I have a note of your order.
We have had another bumper year for ticket sales so thank you very much for your support. It should be a good night!

Thank you for a lovely evening and for my Most Improved Runner award - it was completely unexpected. Our house is full of my son's sporting trophies but I think that they will all fit into my Supersized Cup! Seeing the quality of the previous winners, it is a real honour to join their ranks. To all the new members and graduates of the C25K and 5K+ group, if I can do it, you can too! Thanks to all the club members who have been so supportive and encouraging since I joined. And I have also learnt that trying to keep up with Julie Scholey (aka the whirling dervish) on the dance floor is harder work than a hill session!
