What better way to spend a Sunday morning than logging the miles on the Taff Trail with friends.
The miles simply fly by - just ask Yvonne Bullen!
I know lots of you will have done the final Gwent League at Pembrey the previous afternoon. So good luck everyone with that. However, there is no better way to recover than a nice easy run. Forget the watch! Leave your Garmin at home! In fact, leave all those "training aids" at home, you don't need them.
But you do need to post your intentions, otherwise how do we know who to expect?
You know it makes sense...................

Hoping to do the Full Monty up to the Black Cock and perhaps a few extra to make it up to 20 miles.

Go for it guys, you'll love it!
What a cool day tomorrow will be.
There are our new guys and girls doing their first ever 10k around Bute Park and then another band of our team doing their first half marathon in Newport.

They have all come such a long way and every extra mile they do is filling them with more confidence.
They can only improve.
They will be running further and further and loving every mile.

Running changes lives, FACT!

This all fills me with much pride with regards to our club and what we achieve together.

Let us all continue to be there for one another and drown ourselves in running fever!
Red and green is the blend for success!

Running is the answer to everything.

If you are fed up go for a run, if you are broke go for a run, if you need to spend time with friends without a hangover afterwards, then go for a run!

The best of luck to one and all tomorrow!!!

LC Forever!

Have legs willrun.

Stu

Thanks everyone for another lovely run.
6 miles out to the foot of Castell Coch hill with Maria (who was doing 20), and 6 miles back with Dan and Gabriella.
A bit wild but none the less enjoyable for that.
A question to ponder: when the weather is as it is, why do all the fella run straight through the puddles, and all the ladies run round them? Discuss.

Mick,

No all men run through puddles, on my long run today.

Around the puddles on the way out. with 3 miles to go.. I didn't care or was to tired to care.. and running through them.

Rubbish Mick. I run through all puddles as it is easier than finding a way around them.

I ran straight through them. You couldn't really avoid them on the way back!!! And it was a way of cleaning my trainers!

never ceases to amaze me how many people this slowcoach can overtake in a race (esp XC!) cos I take the shortest route.
